One year ago today our belongings were delivered and we moved into our house on Stormcloud. This house was not what we had in mind, but I continue to feel confident that it's where the Lord wants us and I can see the numerous blessings that have been poured out upon us because of it. I am grateful for the friends we've made, the opportunities to serve that have been made available to us, and the space we have to host family and friends. It is a testimony to me that my Heavenly Father knows more than me and sees the greater picture more clearly than I.
The kids re-discovered the back yard last night, and begged to go back out first thing this morning. What a fantastic life we have.
In unrelated news, I had planned to go to book club this evening, but Matthew went to help Jeb fix his sister-in-law's van and the work went late. I'm really glad he was able to be of assistance.
