The majority of Abraham's prayers primarily consist of phrases like:
bless that we have a good time eating
bless that we have a good time brushing our teeth
bless that we have a good time driving to school
bless that we have a good time going to bed
bless that we have a good time putting on our shoes
As I was rushing from activity to activity today, swamped with things to get done, I found myself a bit frustrated with my sweet little companion taking what seemed like ages to walk from Abraham's classroom back to the car, insisting she step through every single bike rack. I know she doesn't exactly love running errands and recognized how hard it must be for her to drop her brother off day after day in a fun classroom full of interesting things to investigate without ever getting the chance to stay and play, so I paused to let her complete her obstacle course. I thought back on Abraham's prayer that morning, that we have a good time going to and coming home from school, and there was Mercy finding a way to enjoy the task at hand. It's moments like these that help me understand the scriptures which teach that to become Christlike, we must be as a little child.
