One of my favorite features of our home is that the Shaw family lives just down the street. Ashley is one of the first people I met in the ward and she made me feel welcome before we even made an offer on the house. They have a little boy that's just a week younger than Abraham, and another son about four months older than Mercy. Ryan also works at Sandia and he and Matthew started carpooling when we moved in. It is going so well that we are able to put off buying a second car while we recover from the financial stresses of moving. We really feel so blessed to have such a great family living just a three minute walk down the road.
