House Tour: Part 3

From the front room, you can see through the big archway into the kitchen/dining area (those are ghosts hanging there).

To the right is the downstairs hallway. The first door on the right is the under the stairs closet, then a small laundry room, then a cupboard wherein I keep mostly cleaning supplies, then another bedroom that we are using as an office/sewing room. The door at the far end is a full bathroom.

Our large dining area. It's pretty big and I suppose it's typical to have a living space here as well as the table, but we plan to just eat in here. Someday Matthew wants to build a big table that seats 10 or 12. We've loved having the space to feed lots of people.

The kitchen. There's the gas oven/stove that I've been learning how to cook with, and tons of great counter space. I'm not a huge fan of the faucet, but that can easily be replaced. I love love love having an island.

The walk in pantry is pretty great as well.

And after three weeks, our new refrigerator finally arrived. It was delivered yesterday and Matthew spent most of the evening getting it inside and set up. He and the kids are super excited about the cold water/ice maker in the door, and I am pleased with all the space and the double doors on top that little ones can't get into.
