Matthew dropped Abraham off at 7:45 for his last day of preschool. Mercy and I picked him up at 11:00 on our way home from a big grocery shopping trip.
Hyrum got off the bus at 12:20 and thus started our summer break!
On Monday we had gone to look at another vehicle, this time a Ford Explorer, and we didn't really like the size, gas mileage, or price. We talked about it all the way home and felt like the Highlander really was everything we wanted. After much discussion and prayerful consideration, we decided to increase our offer. The seller agreed, so Matthew came home a bit early this afternoon and we drove back up to Rio Rancho to pay for and pick up our new SUV.
We got home just after 4:00 pm, which is when Hannah had scheduled to come over and use my Juki to finish up a sewing project. We had to get ready for cub scouts, so she sewed while I fed the kids and helped Matthew gather all our supplies. For pack meeting we shot off pop bottle rockets. It was a lot of fun and everyone seemed to really enjoy the activity. That is, until Matthew had to fix one of the launchers and accidentally jammed pvc in his lip.
Mercy, as always, was in heaven surrounded by her favorite big girl friends: Cora, Bailey, and Luci.
