When we started this whole crazy endeavor, our minimum goal was to have all the major mess making done and cleaned up by the end of yesterday, the seventh day. We spent several hours taping and preparing to texture and prime the hall wall and fireplace wall. It always amazes me how long it takes to get ready for things like painting compared to how long it actually takes to paint. It took us until about 11:00 pm to finish spraying texture and prime, but when we went to bed, all the major mess making was done and relatively cleaned up!
Things didn't quite go as we had planned, but depending on how you look at it, we got way more accomplished than we anticipated, and it sure feels good having all that mess behind us!
