I made hash brown's and eggs for breakfast this morning and we leisurely packed up the car. We left the house at 11:00 am and had an uneventful four hour drive to Pine Top Arizona. We checked in around 2 pm local time and spent a few minutes getting settled. Our family had a two room suite in the main building. The front room was comprised of a couch with a hide-a-bed, a reclining chair, and a kitchenette with a small table and four chairs. Through a door was another room with a queen size bed and attached bathroom. My parents were in a studio type room next door.
After getting organized, we made a trip to Safeway for groceries. We picked up Little Caesar's pizza for dinner and after eating spent some time in the swimming pool.
We have learned to bring the kids' sleeping bags every time we plan on spending the night somewhere and we were once again grateful to have them. It ended up working out best to have the boys on the couch bed and Mercy on the floor.
After we got the kids to sleep, Matthew and I watched two episodes of Steampunk'd on his laptop before calling it a night.
