Quick Update

Matthew's experience in Portland with the Army Corps of Engineers went fine. He was impressed with the city's public transportation system and ate a really delicious bratwurst from a food truck. The interview was very similar to the one he had on phone and he came home with very little else to say about the whole thing. The next day he had a Skype interview to be the physics demonstration guy at BYU. It was really awkward and he doesn't expect to move forward with them. We are greatly anticipating his trip to New Mexico next week.

With all the traveling and family in town, we haven't done much more on the house. Matthew is teaching an extra lab this week, defends his thesis on Friday, and has some presentation prep to do for Sandia, so we don't anticipate a whole lot getting done in the week or two to come. That's okay.

We've had a great conference weekend. We all piled on our bed and watched it together. I may not have caught every word due to all the his blanket is touching mine and I'm hungry and is it almost over, but I loved being all together. I'm so in love with my little family.

I really like the black & white picture of Abraham. Contemplative is not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about him, but this picture immediately brought that thought. I love watching all the kids grow and seeing the different aspects of their personalities.
