We picked Matthew up from his Sandia interview yesterday evening. It went well and he feels he did as good a job as he could have. He left to teach his lab as soon as we got home, slept a few hours, then we took him back to the airport this morning. He's headed to Utah this time. Apparently the BYU phone interview wasn't as awkward as he thought and they are bringing him out for an on site evaluation. While the interview isn't until Monday, they allowed (and even suggested) that he fly out a couple days early so he can spend some time with his family. Too bad they wouldn't foot the bill for all of us to go.
In other news, the weather warmed up and the boys are back outside. Yesterday was gorgeous and I was anticipating a full day of spring cleaning while they occupied themselves out doors. Unfortunately, they got themselves grounded around noon for leaving our yard and stealing decorative stones from the neighbor, so I ended up spending the afternoon dealing with the ramifications of keeping two grumpy boys inside. I really hope they choose to be obedient today.
Also of note, Mercy had her 1 year check up. She is healthy and developing well. I've updated the picture, stats, and bio on her profile page.
