Once again, the month seems to have flown by, though I admit the beginning of April seems ages ago.
Mercy is officially toddling around, walking as often as she crawls. She's just about out of her jarred baby food, which is fine because she'd rather eat whatever the rest of the family is having anyway. She's working on cutting a couple of molars, sleeping a ton, and loves playing outside.
Sometimes I forget that my little Abraham is only three. He is growing up so fast and loves to do all the same big boy things his brother does. He is by far our most accident prone child and is currently sporting a pretty impressive scrape on his elbow and a weird cut behind his ear.
Socks on their hands. My sister used to do this, and we thought it was a coincidence when Hyrum also found it amusing. But I'm beginning to think it's just a kid thing.
Matthew's lab is finished and he deposits his dissertation on Friday. Now all that's left is to finish the house and get a job (not necessarily in that order). BYU did not give him an offer, and while the gifted boarding school wanted to fly him out for an on-site interview, we decided being a high school teacher really wasn't what he wanted to do. He's got a phone interview with Amazon next week, and we know Sandia has been contacting his references, so there are still some doors open to us.
