We made a big push this last month and it showed. Both Abraham and Hyrum passed their grades in math, and Mercy passed several levels of her math game, including a multiplication level. I found a site called k12reader.com that has some good reading/grammar resources and I started printing off worksheets for Abraham and Mercy from there. I've been able to incorporate art and grammar and writing into single assignments which the kids have responded to with a reasonable amount of enthusiasm. Hyrum passed his grammar course as well as 7th grade reading comprehension, and has been plugging along with his biology and history. Abraham has been especially enthusiastic about Blender and has designed some really cool stuff.
We are looking forward to mixing some different subjects into our schedule next semester, and I think perhaps we'll try playing around with a bit less structure. Hyrum has responded really well to having a list of things he has to get done and then deciding himself when and how to complete his tasks.
