Last night at Pack Meeting, Hyrum and Kaden received their Webelos and Arrow of Light.
It's often said that it's really the mom's that earn these awards, but Hyrum put in all the effort and work and honestly earned them himself. It was especially meaningful as the arrows they received were made by Matthew when he was their first Cub Master back when these boys started scouting. Hyrum has loved Cub Scouts and is sad not to be continuing on to Boy Scouts. He's excited about joining young men's though, and has tried several times to convince me that now that's he's earned his Webelos, he should be able to start going to the youth activities. Soon enough, my sweet boy, soon enough.
