July

July was a long month, and unlike many months, I can't say it's flown by. It's been full and busy and the beginning of it feels like ages ago. We started it off in Utah, celebrating two weddings, and doing some camping and hiking. Hyrum stayed there for two weeks longer than the rest of us. While he was having adventures with Grandma and Grandpa, Abraham and Mercy enjoyed swim team, park lunches, and several play dates. Matthew helped out at a multi-stake youth conference and I spent Wednesday evenings doing camp pre-certification activities with the young women. We flew Grandma Naomi out toward the end of the month and she was exceptionally helpful as I finished preparations for camp. Matthew left for Vancouver, I left for Girls Camp, and Grandma held down the fort at home while we were gone.

While Hyrum was gone, I used the fishing themed flannel he picked out to make a twin size quilt for his bed.

I didn't get to take a single walk by myself this month, but I did go on some nice hikes in Utah and at Girls Camp. I went to the temple by myself once and did a session for a family name.
