We let the boys skip school and we all rode the train up to Santa Fe for the day.
We walked around and looked at shops
and old churches
checked out the library
and wandered through the state capitol building
Also of note, we bought an exceptionally spicy quesadilla from a street vendor and the boys each purchased a shark's tooth from a really cool store full of fossils and gems. The weather was just about as perfect as it could be and everyone had a good time.
