Wheat Bread
I did some experimenting with a batch of home ground hard red wheat. What I made wasn't great, but I look forward to perfecting a nice loaf of homemade wheat bread.

Food Storage
Didn't do much this month in the way of food storage.
Projects
I made this reversible apron for a gift exchange party I went to.

I also made the kids pajama pants, none of which turned out quite right, and a little dress out of super hero fabric for Mercy that needs the straps adjusted. The bicycle training didn't go as well this month with so much holiday stuff going on, but I did get in some fun rides and have continued to train indoors a couple times a week.
***
My goal for this past year has been to live more deliberately, and as a whole I think I've done a decent job of it. I've certainly made a more conscience attempt at deliberate parenting, particularly when it comes to discipline, but also just focusing more intently on the task at hand when it comes to activities with the kids. I've made an effort at trying out new recipes and cooking because I enjoy cooking, not just because we have to eat. I've also done several sewing and other projects that have stretched my skills and made me happy. I sadly cannot report that I have a full 6 months of food storage, but I have a full year's supply of some things and easily 6 months of others, which is more than we had when the year started, so that's something. I'm grateful for the chance I've had at the end of each month to take stock of what I'd accomplished and see how my deliberate actions yielded finished results. I believe I am a better person for having focused on this goal for the past year.
