Hyrum's Birthday!
We had birthday pancakes for breakfast, then played with Christmas toys and got ready for church. We enjoyed a smorgasbord of leftovers for lunch, benefited from some quiet time, and played a few rounds of the Ninja Turtle game.
We had pizza hamburgers for Hyrum's birthday dinner, then opened presents. Hyrum got some Magic School Bus books from Sarah, three new shirts and some tools (tape measure and screw drivers) from mom and dad, a G.I. Joe and monster mask from his Kress grandparents, a set of Minecraft books from his Johnson Grandparents, and Christmas candy from Abraham. We then had cake and the kids willingly went to bed at 6:30 because they were so tired. It's hard to have your birthday two days after Christmas, on a Sunday, when you're out of town, but Hyrum seemed to have a good day. I hope he knows how very much we love him and how proud we are of the good, grown up boy he is becoming.

The adults played Codebreaker then when Sarah was done we played a couple rounds of 7 Wonders and went to bed a bit after 10.
