This morning Matthew, the boys, and I picked up Wes and Fiorella and used our Explora pass at the Natural History Museum. Mercy, Sarah, and Grandma stayed home.
After the museum we drove across town and ate lunch at a Peruvian restaurant, then drove back up to drop off Wes and Fiorella. It was a long outing, but Hyrum and Abraham behaved so well. Matthew and I dropped the boys off at home and went to Smiths for one last minute errand. Later in the evening Derrick, Wes, and Fiorella came over for a fancy Christmas Eve dinner. Naomi and I did dishes while Sarah played the Ninja Turtle game with Mercy and Abraham. Everyone else played Castle Panic. We read the story of Christ's birth, then the kids opened their new pajamas and went to bed.
The adults played Codebreaker until 10:30, then the parents stuffed stockings and at least Matthew and I were in bed at 11:30. Wes, Fiorella, and Derrick slept in the family room and I spent the night back on the bottom bunk. Luckily the kids were tired enough that everyone slept pretty well.
