The new sleeping arrangement last night worked out better for most of us. Hyrum slept on the top bunk so there were no conflicts with Mercy, Matthew slept on the bottom bunk, and I was out on the couch. Abraham still woke up 4 or 5 times, and Mercy needed comforting once or twice so Matthew had a busy night, but at least I got some sleep. We got a free Explora pass through Abraham's school and it's part of a museum exchange program so we were able to use it at several museums in Utah. Today we picked up Fiorella and went to the planetarium. Using the pass we were able to see a Christmas themed lights and laser show in the dome theater. The boys both loved it. Abraham sang along to most of the songs and kept exclaiming things like "we're going thru a portal" or "now we're in a force field." Mercy did not like it and buried her head in my shoulder for half the show. Being prone to motion sickness, I wasn't a huge fan either, but everyone else enjoyed it. We took our time looking at all the exhibits and ate the sack lunch Naomi had brought.
We then drove over to the City Creek mall. I snuck off to do some secret shopping while everyone else went to see Santa. We checked out several stores (Mercy especially enjoyed collecting Mini Mouse dolls at the Disney store) and enjoyed the ambiance. The boys love Fiorella and stuck with her all day long. It was nearly 5:00 pm when we left for home. Mercy fell asleep in the car and continued to nap on my lap until dinner. We put the kids to bed a bit early, watched a couple Studio C shorts and ate some delicious homemade baklava. Matthew went with Naomi to the grocery store while I wrapped my clandestine gifts.
