Cold Ride, Hot Date

This morning I went on a fun 1.5 hour ride with Hannah, Rachel, and Stacey. Stacey is house hunting, so we rode up the Bosque to Montano then cycled around a really interesting neighborhood to look at a couple places for sale. We rode back down on Rio Grande. Despite it being freezing cold, the adventure was quite enjoyable.

I got home with enough time to quickly shower before taking Abraham to school and going on my date with Matthew (and Mercy). He took us to Woodworkers Supply where they were handing out free brats and burgers in conjunction with their big clearance sale. Very romantic.

Matthew purchased a router bit and some wood glue, but didn't find any worthwhile deals on a band saw or drum sander so we left rather empty handed. We were in the neighborhood of Performance Bicycle so we stopped in to acquire a pair of full fingered gloves to keep my hands warmer during my next winter morning ride. Though it wasn't our express intention, we also picked up a new cycling jacket which I am completely in love with.
