This morning we spent three hours at Park West. Hannah and I got 10,000 steps walking and the kids had a lot of fun playing. We ended up staying for park lunch. After a brief break at home, the kids and I walked down to the splash pad to meet up with Noah, a friend of Hyrum's from school. I got to meet Noah's mom and little brother Jonah. The boys will be in the same class in the fall so it's fun that they live within walking distance from us.
This evening was Pack Meeting. We made sling shots out of popsicle sticks and plastic spoons, then had a contest to see who could launch mini marshmallows the farthest. Matthew's trebuchet was by far the most superior, but he didn't participate in the contest. I had Luci and Cora with me since Hannah and Jeb were both in meetings, and Cora ended up wining third place. The attendance was pretty sparse, but everyone seemed to have a good time.
Hannah was finishing up some Young Women's stuff, so we hung out with her girls for a while afterwards. Mercy loves Luci, and Luci is a good sport looking after Mercy. They are a pretty cute pair.
