On Thursday we spent the morning at a new park with Becky, Hannah, and Mindy. Becky and Mindy left, but Hannah and I stayed for free lunch. That night Brie picked me up for book club.
Friday we went to yet another new park, this time for our last play date with Becky and her kids.
Hannah couldn't make it to the park because she was taking Luci to the doctor to get tested for strep. Later in the afternoon Becky learned one of hers also had strep, and by the evening Mercy was definitely showing signs of sickness. I guess that's what happens when a group of kids sees each other nearly every day.
A friend of Hyrum's told him all about the video/computer game Mine Craft. He started asking if we could get it, so Matthew downloaded a 100 minute trial run and within minutes was convinced it was the perfect game for the boys. He purchased it, got it running on the server, and today the three of them spent just about the entire day playing together.
While they built castles, roads, and chicken farms, I went on a two hour bike ride on the Bosque with Hannah and Ashley. I also went grocery shopping, did some house keeping, and worked on some primary stuff. Mercy spent most of the day either in bed or cuddling with me.
