Yesterday I had a follow up eye exam and got our new tires put on the Highlander, but other than that, the last three days have been almost entirely devoted to making macarons for Jessica's wedding. A batch I made a couple weeks ago went terrible, and one I made last week turned out edible but not very pretty. I found my groove again though and this week produced four perfect batches without a single ugly one in the bunch. Jessica wanted pale colors with floral flavors so I made her lavender/vanilla and almond/raspberry. I'm very pleased with how they turned out.
