August always feels like two months rolled up in one. We played and had as much fun as we could during the first two weeks, getting together with friends and going on outings. Then school started and the second half of the month was primarily dedicated to settling into our new school year routine. At the very end of the month, Matthew's parents came to attend his WIP graduation and spend a few days with us.
Mission Prep:
Both Matthew and I have been focusing on weight training. He's bulking and working out with barbells at work, and I'm cutting and do a dumbbell routine at home, but both of us are feeling the positive effects of lifting. The evening walks have decreased some since school started, but I'm still aiming for 10,000 steps a day and always feel best when I hit my goal. I attended the temple with Matthew's parents this month and we had a lovely experience.
