Abraham's project for the last month was a biography report. We went to the Brown's a couple weeks ago to watch a documentary on conservationist Aldo Leopold and Abraham decided that's who he wanted to study. We learned that Aldo studied in the first graduate program of forestry (at Yale), wrote the forest service's first Game and Fish handbook, helped create the first National Wilderness Area (the Gila, here in NM), and was the first professor of Game Management. An interesting fellow for sure!
It was Dr. Seuss week in Kindergarten this past week, and Mercy got to dress up each day, which she loved. Monday they read Oh, The Places You'll Go and wore college attire.
Tuesday they read Cat In The Hat and wore stripes. She had a cute outfit, but it was a rushed morning and we didn't manage to get a picture. The next day was Wacky Wednesday and they read Wocket In My Pocket.
Thursday they read Fox in Sox, and appropriately wore silly socks.
Today they wore green. Mercy especially liked that her Minecraft shirt had a pig and a duck on it since they were going to read Green Eggs and Ham.
