The end of this month has definitely snuck up on me. It was full of travel with my trip to Dallas, Matthew's WIP trip to Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia, and Cassie's trip home to Utah. The kids got two days off from school and Hyrum went to a birthday party. Matthew attended a couple Ward Conferences for his calling and he and I participated in the Stake youth Trek kickoff activity. Cassie was able to do a couple of air tests and fog jobs and her business seems to be getting off to a decent start. I did some more experimenting with macarons, made a baby blanket, and have continued to try new recipes for dinner. Matthew and I have also been working on designing wedding announcements for Sarah and Cassie. It's been unusually cold here in Albuquerque and I think we must have already used up all the cloudy days allotted for the year. The winter weather did however give Matthew and the kids the opportunity to try ice fishing, which everyone loved!
Mission Prep:
I attended the temple twice this month, once with Cassie and once with Matthew. I need to do some sealings, then I'll be all done with the stack of family names I've been working on. Time to get going on more genealogy! My health and fitness goal for February was to exercise hard enough that I needed to shower afterwards, then to get dressed in a real outfit (rather than comfy pants and baggy sweatshirts every day). I started out the month mostly doing HIIT on the indoor bike trainer, but then Cassie and I started doing workout videos together every morning right after the kids leave for school. Exercising with a buddy keeps me accountable and is much more fun than doing it on my own. I've also felt so much better about myself as I've tried to be more deliberate about my clothes and appearance.
