Matthew is still up against his deadlines and had to go into work today.
We dropped Mercy off at the Jensen's a bit before 9:00 this morning, then the boys and I went over to the West Mesa pool for a swim clinic in preparation for swim team. The director gave us some information, then everyone split into age groups and got in the pool to see what practices will be like. Hyrum was the smallest and youngest in the 9-10 year old group and was the worst swimmer. He worked hard though and I was proud of his efforts. Abraham was in the middle both in age and ability of the under 8 group. There were definitely kids there who were worse than the boys so I'm not worried about them.
After swimming, Becky dropped off Mercy and Spencer. Around lunch time we met Dad at Cabela's for free lunch, fishing, and crafts in honor of Memorial Day.
Matthew made a worthwhile breakthrough at work in the morning, but unfortunately ended up succumbing to the stomach flu and had to leave Cabela's early to go home and be sick. While he was in bed, Esther and Ammon came over to join the party and everyone played nicely until 5:00 pm. About twenty minutes after Becky picked up her kids, Hyrum threw up EVERYWHERE. He and Matthew spent the rest of the evening and late into the night being sick.
