Today I volunteered in Abraham's class. We did a pumpkin exploration activity involving observing, measuring, drawing, and mucking out our pumpkin. Once all the goop was cleaned out, we separated the seeds into groups of ten to count. Abraham seemed to enjoy having me there and I liked getting to know his classmates. I'm really grateful for this new stage where I'm able to be more involved in my kids' school life.
