I'm not sure why it took us five years to hang a swing from the tree in our back yard, but Hyrum started asking for one a few days ago, so this afternoon Matthew rounded up some rope and a couple boards and in under 20 minutes the boys each had a tree swing.
He hung the round one first, then hung Abraham's and decided they were too close to each other so Hyrum's got moved to a different branch. The boys thought his tree climbing skills were pretty amazing.
While Mercy isn't big enough to swing, she did enjoy watching her brothers and toddling around in the grass.
