We spent the morning of Saturday, June 15, at Mt. Rushmore. It was just down the road from our hotel and while smaller than I imagined, it was really quite impressive.
After lunch we all took long naps, then spent some more time back at the little playground. It was my dad's birthday and we celebrated by having dinner at a BBQ place. That evening Mom and I made a quick trip to Hill City to the nearest grocery store to pick up some supplies and food for the Sabbath.
