Today Mercy received her baby blessing. Matthew stood in the circle with Grandpa J, Matt Hebdon, Daniel Jensen, and Brandon Davis. Mercy was blessed that she would learn the gospel, make covenants, and return to her Heavenly Father. She was also blessed that she might marry in the temple and raise a family. It was a very short blessing including the key things that really matter in this life. It was a reminder to me of the point of this mortal experience, and I am grateful for a worthy husband who seeks to humbly exercise the priesthood power and follow the promptings of the Spirit.
Mercy was well behaved during the blessing and looked absolutely adorable in the beautiful dress made by her Grandma Naomi.
