Working with Hyrum

The boys' room is still sitting empty from when we cleared it out in anticipation of working on it over Christmas break. My sewing room got packed up and kid proofed so they could sleep in there temporarily. We all know what "temporary" means around here, so I finally fished my machine and a few basic necessities out and Hyrum and I have turned the purple room into our workshop. We go in during Abraham's nap and I sew while he works on his projects involving scraps of fabric, tape, and the plethora of card board boxes we've been collecting lately. It's probably my favorite part of the day.

Note the large Gutermann box in the corner. The 100 spool thread cabinet I've had my eye on for years was 50% off online and Matthew ordered it for me. It came today and I am so excited!

A little teaser of my latest project. With any success, it will eventually become an Easter basket.
