I got a load of towels folded before breakfast, the boys watched sesame street while I cleaned the floors then played in the bounce house until lunch. While doing the dishes after our meal I accidentally sprayed water all over myself. Hyrum was worried at first that I had gotten the baby wet, then proceeded to explain to me how I'm growing a real baby in my belly but he's growing a pretend dinosaur in his belly just like dad. Matthew's third wedding band came in the mail. His first was too heavy, his second was too small, and this one appears to be a tad too big. Maybe some day we'll manage to get the whole wedding ring thing right. After nap time I spent about an hour in the bounce house with the boys. Abraham was in a very silly mood, and Hyrum was feeling a bit sick which made him unusually cuddly. I felt grateful that I had gotten so much done in the morning which allowed me to devote all my attention to my children in the afternoon. I need to remember how rewarding it is for all of us when I don't try to multi-task my time with them. In the evening we took a family trip to Menards. Last week they sent out brown bags in the newspaper that gave 20% off anything you could fit in it. We don't get the newspaper so we didn't get a bag and they wouldn't give us one at the store, which was a bummer. We went last night though and an old man had several extras and gave us one. Amazingly enough, there was very little we could think of to fill it with. It was a bit surreal to realize we already owned pretty much everything we could want or need from a hardware store. What a blessing!
