In and Out

It amazes me how in just nine months Abraham went from nothing to a newborn, and now in nine months more he's crawling and cruising, eating solids and finger foods, sleeping great at night, and has a personality all his own. The time has really flown by! Baby Abraham is such a happy guy. He's not just a content baby, or one that doesn't fuss much, he literally smiles all the time. Sometimes when he's concentrating it's more of a smirk, but most of the time it's an all out grin. He's learning to wave and clap his hands, which is so adorable, and he babbles incessantly. Quiet time at our house is mostly for Mama because both my boys spend their waking hours talking non-stop. Abraham is not much of a napper, and he's not a big fan of alone time in his crib. Sometimes a 20 minute cat-nap in the car seat is all I can get from him, though he sleeps great at night (10 - 12 hours) so I can't complain too much. He is full steam ahead during the day. He crawls like a pro, pulls himself to standing, and can cruise along furniture or the wall. He loves to play with toys and is very thoughtful and acts with purpose when he gets it in his mind to do something. This child puts everything in his mouth. He's a real handful, but we sure love him!
