This is what Hyrum looked like yesterday.
I was going through the shoe box to see if we had any that fit Abraham and Hyrum found these galoshes. They're a size too big, but he insisted upon wearing them on our outing to the park. At least he was easy to spot. He also carried around the bubble wand most of the day saying it was his cane (like Great Grandpa's). And that's a piece of celery he's eating. CELERY! The boy who typically won't touch vegetables with a 10 foot pole has eaten carrot and celery sticks for lunch two days in a row!
Here's another glimpse into the sorted life of my two year old: Hyrum's bedroom (can you spot the baby?)
This mess is the result of a couple of tantrums and a decrease in the amount of actual sleeping that happens during nap time. It was becoming something of a death trap though, so I put up the baby gate corralling both boys in the purple room and in the amount of time it took Hyrum to watch the Heffelump movie on the portable DVD player accomplished this:
If only there were some guarantee it would stay like this, though I suppose that would kind of defeat the purpose of having a room full of toys.

Go Julianne!
Do you remember how I'd help you straighten your room when you were five or so? Get those good habits going early.
Is it bad that I feel so much better about myself knowing that other people's kids can destroy a room in no time at all? Some days I don't even try because it makes me so sad to see a perfectly organized room explode. He he he.
When I put Warren in his room yesterday he got into the baby powder..all over the bed.
