Because of the remodeling we're doing, all the kitchen appliances are in the garage. I went out this evening to put something away in the fridge and was startled by this little guy, sitting on my chest freezer.
We thought about keeping him as a pet, but decided it was best to let him live free in the wild. We started coaxing him out of the garage, and man could this little guy jump! We later looked him up in an index of frogs commonly found in central Indiana and determined he was probably an Eastern Gray Tree Frog. I was a little sad Hyrum wasn't awake to see him, but all the same, finding a real live frog at my house totally made my day!
