Megan Whetten was one of my primary councilors and became a good friend. She and her family moved to the other side of Albuquerque about two years ago, but we've kept in touch and I was thrilled to be able to throw her a shower for her third baby.
We had chocolate truffles, candied nuts, fruit nachos, and a variety of macarons: blackberry-lemon curd, orange-cream, raspberry-chocolate hazelnut, coconut-lime, and a few raspberry-lime.
I did the food and Ashley did the decorations (which I was too distracted to take any pictures of). We chose a llama theme and I made a blanket for her to match.
