Today I spent over 13 hours volunteering for the Women of Light Convention, the first of it's kind ever to be held here in Albuquerque. There was a large marketplace with over 200 vendors, a fancy luncheon featuring Elizabeth Smart, several lectures from a wide variety of speakers, and a closing talk by Stephanie Nielson (a blogger I've been following for nearly 10 years) - all of which was geared toward lifting and empowering women. I spent just about the entire day in the central lobby, keeping the snack table supplied and telling people where the bathrooms were. I loved the people watching as well as all the brief interactions I had with so many lovely ladies. It was a long day, but so very enjoyable.
