Redd Visit: day 4

I made silver dollar pancakes with butter and cinnamon sugar for breakfast, then the Redd's walked my boys to the bus stop where they said their good bye's. The Redd's then helped clean my house. This family is truly an example of leaving every person and place they come in contact with better than when they found it. I am humbled by the opportunity I had to serve them and for the generous gratitude they showed in return. After we were all done cleaning and the Redd's were packed up, we headed out on one more adventure.

We drove just up the road to the Bocca Negra Petroglyphs and hiked around for a couple of hours. The kids loved the more rock climing-ish feeling of this area and had fun searching for pictures carved in the hardened lava stones.

All too soon it was noon and time for us to part ways. We really loved having the Redd's come visit and are glad they felt comfortable to call on us like they did. All the kids loved spending time with their cousins and hope to see each other again this summer.
