We spent a large portion of the month sick. Matthew, Mercy, and I caught a virus with a 2 -3 week life span which left us pretty drained and lethargic. I still managed quite a bit of quilting and Matthew made it back out into his shop to start working on some end tables. We had the Brown's over for dinner twice, and Matthew hosted his book club, D&D, and an Elder's Quorum game night. I tended Riker twice and the Jensen boys twice and Mercy made it over to each of their houses almost as many times. We went to Cora's birthday party, and Hyrum went alone to Rhett's birthday party. There was the ward Pinewood Derby, Stake Conference, and a primary baptism. Matthew and I went on our Temple date and I took the kids to the zoo on President's day.
Hyrum was star student of the week which required him to make a poster spotlighting himself. He's also really been enjoying cub scouts.
Abraham got in trouble for stealing a little girl's sucker, gave himself a black eye by running into the table, and built a pretty sweet slime house on Minecraft.
Mercy got a haircut, helped me make granola bars, and accompanied me on several walks
We thought January would be Matthew's last Pack Meeting, but his replacement still wasn't in line to take over for February, so we put on the Blue and Gold Banquet. We did carnival games, including a pinata, and had a (free) raffle for some grand prizes. Mercy, as per usual, spent most of the evening with Bailey. She did however split her attention this time with Bailey's 11 year old brother Andrew, who paid her equal attention and was an absolute little gentleman to her.
