Pinewood Derby

Tonight was the Cub Scout's pinewood derby. Matthew came home from work early to set up the track, which was a good thing because the set up took a long time, plus there was an accident on the freeway and a number of other dad's who work at Sandia barely made it home in time to bring their boys. Everything ran smoothly and a good time was had by all.

Hyrum's car won the gold!

It was Hyrum's first pack meeting as a cub scout, and Matthew's last as cub master. Not only did Hyrum win first place in the race, but he also received his first rank advancement by his dad and became a Bobcat. It was over all a very exciting night.
