This past week was one like many others: school, work, laundry, errands. I started a new session of bike training, Sweet Spot Base 1, and that has gone well so far. I went to a dessert night to celebrate Des' soon to be born baby, Matthew hosted his fantasy book club, and the younger two and I went to play group. I also spent many an hour reading My Name is Resolute, which is the next book for my book club. I really enjoyed it. I've also been cleaning, shopping, and otherwise preparing for the arrival of Matthew's parents and sister tomorrow evening.
Hyrum has a hard time focusing on his homework at the kitchen table, but doesn't have a good place to work in his room, so Matthew put together a table for him. He hasn't done the finish yet, but Hyrum is already excited to practice some spelling and math at his very own desk.
