I think I spent most of June recovering from May.
We decided to put the TV away for the summer. I like the result. The boys still get some screen time each day, but it is mostly spent playing games rather than mindlessly watching pointless shows. It's an improvement anyway.
Mercy Percy is two. She has been for a while, but that's the best way to describe her funny personality, inexplicable tantrums, and crazy antics that keep us all on our toes. The end of the month has found her a bit less generally grumpy than the beginning, though she still has her moments and it seems her new favorite past time is to follow me around shouting NO!
Matthew has been the epitome of supportive. He's totally embraced my new biking aspirations, encouraged and made possible all my social engagements, and has fixed up and rearranged rooms mostly just to please me. He is so good. Maybe someday I'll know how to show him just how much I truly love and appreciate him.
As far as "living deliberately" I didn't really have any projects going on and didn't try any new recipes. I did a bit of stocking up on things like brown sugar and sandwich bags, but didn't make any great strides towards my food storage goals. We did spend a lot of time at the park though, and I went out with the missionaries and there were a couple girls nights and I cleaned the Temple and had play dates and ran errands and worked on Primary stuff and went on bike rides. Hyrum started summer school, I went on two road trips, and Matthew worked hard at the office and at home. I'd say we did alright.
