They boys have been absolutely itching to get in the pool since Matthew set it up on Friday. There just wasn't time though, plus we wanted to give the sun a chance to warm up the water. Hyrum was in charge of our family night activity this evening, so it was no surprise that swimming was the immediate and adamant request. The water registered 70 degrees, which was still a bit chilly, but not entirely unreasonable, so Matthew relented and was a good sport about getting in with them.
Much to her displeasure, Mercy and I did not participate in the inauguration of the pool.
I think it is the perfect size and depth for the boys, and I believe that after a lesson or two, it will be source of great pleasure and refreshment this summer.
