Between General Conference sessions we went down the street to the Shaw's for a pot luck lunch and Easter egg hunt. Mercy and two other little boys got first shot at the eggs, since they were the youngest, and they pretty well cleared out everything just laying on the grass. Then the bigger kids were let loose, and everyone seemed to have a fun time. We came home with about as many eggs as we brought, though I think that's mostly due to the generosity of the other parents who noticed how pitifully empty my kids' baskets were. They aren't always the quickest to catch on at activities like these. It was a fun little gathering, and it made up for the ward hunt we missed last weekend. Hyrum was especially excited, as this is the holiday activity he looks forward to more than any other.
