My midwife had a couple of concerns at my last appointment, so she scheduled me for a second ultrasound. Baby girl looks perfectly healthy, weighing in at around 5 lb 11 oz. Everything looks fine and is right on schedule except one thing: she's still breech. The midwife is a little worried the turn might be made more difficult due to the placenta blocking baby's most likely path to up-side-down, but says it could still happen. Little sister has about two weeks to flip before the feasibility of it becomes quite unlikely, at which point it will be time to start thinking about a scheduled c-section. I'm pleased, though, to know she is healthy and growing despite all the diet issues I've been having.
