A friend of mine in the ward has a (not LDS) neighbor who recently bought a new van and wanted to give their old one (a 2000 Chrysler Voyager) to "a Mormon family who could use it." It needed some work, and since Matthew works on cars and we are expecting our third child, my friend immediately thought of us. It was towed to our house a couple weeks ago and pretty much every other project was put on hold while Matthew got it cleaned up and running. Today was our family's maiden voyage and the boys were over the moon excited. We are so grateful for this blessing, and recognize it as a timely tender mercy from the Lord.
With time and about $500, Matthew has replaced/fixed/flushed:
the water pump
the timing belt
the coolant drain plug
the battery
the spark plugs
the fuel filter
the fuel sender assembly
the belt tensioner
the coolant system
did an oil change
...as well as...
removed and meticulously cleaned all the seats, carpet, and panels.
What a man!

Nice! You guys sure know how to swing the "free" awesome useful, decent looking scores. You'll have to teach me....hehehe. I've decided there is nothing better than a husband who can fix cars! I've loved it! Can't wait until baby gets here! I'm excited to hear her name.
Wow. That is awesome. Perfect timing. Definitely tender mercy blessing.
