I'm currently collecting myself during a self-imposed time out. It's only 9:30am and the boys have been crying or fighting pretty much non stop for the past four hours. We've had something of a stomach bug circulating around the family for about a week and nobody has been sleeping very well, so I don't entirely blame them for being a bit ornery, but the perpetual whining sure makes for a long day.
We recently rearranged the play room to verify that it could accommodate a rather large Christmas present. The toy shelf and couch are now directly next to each other on the back wall, which puts them in perfect position for climbing on. We are trying desperately to discourage the boys from getting on top of the shelf, but apparently the temptation is often just too much to resist.
