One week down, five and a little more to go. The time has actually gone by faster than I thought it would, and since I get to talk to Matthew every day (yay for Skype) being alone hasn't been too unbearable. It seems to be rougher on Hijo than I anticipated though. Nearly every day around 6pm, when Matthew typically gets home, Hyrum starts looking out the front door and saying Da Da. It breaks my heart. He has a little passport sized picture of his Daddy that he carries around and head-butts (his own little way of saying I love you) and I've caught him twice now holding the phone receiver to his ear asking for Da. As great as Mom is, there is no doubt this little boy loves his Dad.
Here's a couple pictures of our boy from this past week.

I am glad you are able to handle being apart so well. I wish I could be more like that, haha. When I was pregnant with Rosaline Mark was in California for 3 weeks and it seemed so difficult. I cried about every other day while he was gone, haha.
Poor Little guy. I guess that's why families need to be together and forever!
MOM
That breaks MY heart! Him holding the little photo of Matthew! I hope the rest of the time goes fast.
Hey, if you get lonely, you can always call me. :-)
