Highlights Week 34

We got a flat tire on the way home from church on Sunday. That was exciting.

The only particularly noteworthy thing I did all week was have lunch with Hannah. Otherwise, it was a pretty typical week full of teaching seminary, going to the gym, grocery shopping, household chores, and keeping everyone fed. Abraham came down with a stomach bug and stayed home from school Wednesday and Thursday. He's my most cuddly child and he and I had some quality snuggle time watching movies while he was feeling ill. I was sad he was sick, but loved that at almost 12 years old he still likes to cuddle up to his mama.

Matthew spent most of the week hanging out with Danny and his family in Ireland. They went to a castle and a maze at a cool living history place, and generally had a nice time catching up.

Dad got home on Thursday night and brought with him a load of candy and treats from the UK, as well as a really cool silver coin from the days of King Edward I.

We had Lucas and Viviana over this morning, and Lucas was more than happy to sit and watch the premiere of our latest YouTube video about the jump ring cutter Matthew designed.

This afternoon Matthew and I ran oodles of errands, mostly revolving around getting Abraham's percussion instruments for band. In the evening the boys went over to the Walkers for a movie night. Other photos from this week include the very appropriate shirt one of the YM leaders got for Abraham (note the broken ribs), and a peek into the wonderland that is Mercy's bedroom. I believe there was an ocean involved in the game she was playing on this particular afternoon.
