We had a lovely slow morning on Sunday. After church we found a little park and enjoyed a picnic lunch and a light nature walk. They boys may have gotten a little silly with the exercise equipment along the path.
We spent the afternoon swimming in the hotel's indoor pool, then had some dinner in our rooms and watched The Parent Trap. We were all reminded how much nicer it is to stream shows rather than watch them with commercials on cable TV. Two of the kids' favorite things about this trip was the swimming and the fact they had their own room.
In order to get a voucher to pay for our valet parking, we had to listen to a presentation on a timeshare vacation program, which actually worked out okay because Monday was cold and rainy. The kids hung out in their room and watched cartoons while some very enthusiastic sales people tried to get Matthew and I (and my parents) to buy into their program. Afterwards we went out for Mexican food.
My parents and sister went back to the hotel while our family went to check out a Japanese market, where we each got to pick out something. Then we too went back to spend the rest of the day at the hotel. The weather warmed up enough in the afternoon for some swimming in the outside pool, as well as some tennis.
In the evening we ordered pizza from the hotel restaurant and watched Encanto with my mom and sister in Jennifer's room (streamed off Matthew's computer because we couldn't handle another night of commercials.)
